Children & Youth

We have activities for all of our children and youth: 

• Nursery: Staffed by church volunteers as needed, with advance notice. There is also a lactation room and sensory space in the back of the sanctuary. 

• Grade School: Children's moment during worship, then some weeks depart for a lesson in the Children's Sanctuary. Other weeks, worship in a special area called the "Prayground." 

• Youth Group (Grades 6-8): Meets one Sunday evening a month. Hosted by different parents. Share a meal. Bible studies. Service opportunities. Faith reflections. 

• All Ages, including Adults: Game nights. Hanging of the Greens. Summer picnic. Fall bonfire. 

Children and youth also participate in congregational life as scripture readers, deacons, community volunteers, snack servers, dish washers, and more! We value intergenerational connections and nurture relationships across age groups. 

All the volunteers who work with children and youth are background checked. Our Safe Conduct Policy, updated in April 2025, is available here.
