WEAR RED THIS SUNDAY TO CELEBRATE PENTECOST

This Sunday we celebrate the "birthday" of the church - when early Christians first experienced the Holy Spirit. Wear red (to symbolize the Spirit's fire) and join us for worship!

EDUCATION COMMITTEE MEETING FOLLOWING WORSHIP

There will be an Education Committee meeting Sunday following the fellowship time (about 11:30 a.m.). Anyone interested in Christian Education (adult enrichment, children's Sunday School, childcare during worship, and youth group) is welcome and encouraged to attend. Note: Adult Enrichment will NOT meet this Sunday due to the Education Committee meeting.

START YOUR SUNDAY MORNING OFF WITH SINGING AND PRAISE

Remember to join us at 9:45 a.m. for "Sweet Praises," singing led by Jacqua Hoard, minister of music at Fifth St. Christian Church. Come and sing around the piano or just sing from your seat. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a song in your heart! Worship will follow at 10 a.m.

REMEMBER RBCC'S FUNDRAISING EFFORTS

Our current fundraising effort is focusing on your pocket change. We're going to be taking our "crayon bank" to the bank THIS MONDAY, so if you have change to add, please bring it to church this Sunday.

Our fundraising efforts for January and February totaled over $2,500. We haven't totaled up March yet and are still working on April. We are counting on fundraising for $1,250 each month, so we can use your help! We're also still accepting donations of CD's, DVD's, books, electronic games, etc.

BIBLE STUDY STARTING PHILIPPIANS

The weekly Bible Study will resume Tuesday, May 13th at 5:30 p.m., and will start on Philippians.

WEEKLY PRAYER GROUP

A weekly prayer group meets on Wednesday mornings at 6:30 a.m. If you have a joy or concern that you would like included in the week's prayers, please let Kathy Brown know. Everyone is also welcome to join us for prayers and scripture.

BOARD MEETING NEXT WEDNESDAY

The RBCC board will meet next Wednesday (May 14th) at 7 p.m. at the church. Everyone is welcome to attend.
